T O P I C R E V I E WSpaceflyerLooking for opinions on this signed Apollo 11 FDC. I don't have any info on the provenance. The signatures look quite good to me. But I am not sure. Many thanks in advance for each opinion.ColinBurgessWhilst I'm no expert on the signatures I am surprised to see that the artist who drew that "first step" illustration did not do their research. Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon with his left foot.micropoozColin, those cachets were printed long before the mission, so the artist had to guess which foot would be first. And alas, he guessed wrong... MendipmaNicIf they are originals, they look excellent to me.cosmos-walterIf it is a genuinely hand-signed cover, it is a scarce Type 2 - Dow-Unicover Insurance cover, since Aldrin and Collins changed their signatures after Apollo 11 mission.
